Slot Car Race Tracks is a company founded by two brothers who played with slot cars as kids; we want to bring the slot car racing hobby to the next generation. We believe that time spent connecting together in person is always time well spent, and that a little friendly competition goes a long way in forging bonds that last a lifetime. 

Slot cars run on tracks with metal rails that supply electrical power. A pickup on the bottom of the car collects this power and sends it to the motor, which drives the wheels. Each car runs on its own lane, and each lane has a hand controller that regulates how much power reaches the car, allowing the driver to speed up or slow down. The goal is to go fast on straightaways, but to slow down through turns and loop-de-loops so the car doesn’t fly off the track! Don’t slow down too much, though, or you may get passed or fall off the loop-de-loop!

Each track has its own lap counter, so you can tell who wins—and by how much—without having to keep track in your head while you race. Our controllers allow for very precise control over speed; eventually, you’ll be able to fly through the track without ever falling off!

All of our cars emulate real cars; you’ll see tires, a chassis, and bodies that may remind you of classic race cars, muscle cars, and more. Find a car that suits your style, and get racing!

All of our slot cars are 1:43 scale. We chose this scale to make our cars and tracks more affordable and accessible; these cars are perfect for beginners while offering enough power and speed to keep things exciting for enthusiasts. Other slot car race sets may come with only one car; each of our sets come with two cars, because we want to encourage our customers to race with friends and family. All of the individual slot cars we offer are compatible with all of our race tracks.
